Music in hallways is a program born from the time I spent playing guitar for my wife during her battle with cancer. Patients would listen from their rooms and applaud. After she passed, I continued playing in the hallways — eventually bringing this small piece of calm and connection to hospitals around the country.

At the festival gate, peasants, nobles, merchants, and the occasional questionable wizard all collide in joyful chaos, kicking off the entrance dance to the mighty bagpipes of David Cohen — the only piper brave enough to play before everyone’s had their morning mead.
TedX: Trial by Covid
Postponed twice due to Covid the show’s 3rd date held. Covid hit me hard 7 days before I drove 19h from WY to IA and performed 1st day out of quarantine, hiding how hard it was to breathe. Next day I played a tune on the gaita; Four months later in N. Dakota, on the bank of the Missouri River, I was able to play again
